E-scooters and sur-rons - can they be seized?: Fri 21 Aug 15:30

Dear Resident,

Are you worried that we might seize your e-scooter or sur-ron?

Are you worried that an e-scooter or sur-ron might hurt your or someone you know?

Do you just wonder what your rights are?

Then PCSO Martin and PC Morris are here to help! On Friday 21st August at 3:30pm, we will be holding an event outside Winster Mews where we can discuss with you to help you understand:

Where e-scooters and sur-rons can be used

How you can stop worrying in silence about the safety of yourself and others by letting the police help

What the police will do if we see illegal usage

Gamesley and St Johns residents have told us that people using e-scooters and sur-rons is one of their biggest concerns, and that their usage is stopping people from feeling safe. You may hold the key information which can help us make the Gamesley and St Johns community feel safer!

Likewise, you may already own something and be concerned that we may seize it as you're not clear on the rules.

Either way, please come along and speak with us. Unless you turn up on an e-scooter or sur-ron, we won't be seizing anything from anybody!
